Andy Hammann, PhD

Since 2024, I have been a Senior Historian with the New American History initiative at the University of Richmond.

My main responsibilities are to design and build digital resources focused on the history and memory of the American Revolution. The overarching objectives of this work are to enrich the quality of civic education and public discourse on these crucial subjects during the America 250 moment and beyond. 

 

I am also part of the team that contributed to the Gilder Lehrman Institute's AP African American Studies study guide.
